Closing the Portal (Event I)

"You think I'm scared of a bunch of mutts.. And I agree that White magic will destroy the spell there is more than just ordinary dark magic at work here, or did you not notice that the more we kill want comes out of the portal the more powerful the next ones are not to mention that the portal seamed to lure us here before actually activating , and besides if you would look closely at the portal you would see ruins inscribed all around it.. And while I may not be able to cast dark magic i am well educated in all forms of magic and given the age of the ruins this isn't likely to be the same kind of magic that we are used too it is much older and much more unstable so using only one from of magic might not be enough to disable it, and we should prepare for the worst just in case." Kira said preparing for the worst

((The portal needs to be closed, regardless. The site (and characters) need to move on from this. There will be repercussions for closing it, but for now those are unknown. Indilwen is trying to shut it by herself, and she will die if not assisted. If she dies, I will be mad.))

"I will not hesitate to slaughter either of you. This portal ends here, it ends now." Ilyndrathyl's eyes were burning with rage, fully directed toward the two who were opposing him. It was clear they were not in the right mind set. "If you think this is going undocumented, you underestimate Labrynnia's scholars. That's a direct insult to my company and my country. We're not a bunch of ignorant dolts and we studied this portal before you even showed up, you useless drunkard." He glanced at Indilwen, who seemed to be the only one trying to do anything.

"If my sister expends all of her energy and you morons don't help her close this portal, I will personally feed you to the hellhounds." His voice was stone cold, menacing, the scars along his neck were turning a vibrant purple. "Help her, now. Close it down, now. Anyone who further prohibits the closing of this portal, and I mean anyone, will be hung publicly in the streets of Labrynna for treason."

He could, and would, do such a thing.

"alright i guess you're right, but I doubt that the scholars have documented it in action but what needs to be done needs to be done.. So do you want me to just level the thing or what. I guess that you could borrow some of my power if your running low on manna if you want, just let's get this over with." Kira said realizing that there wasn't any other option

Fia'ye glared at Ily, "Hush Ily. If you want to complain about this, ten get your ass over here and do this then!" she snapped, putting her white magic into it, she did the best she could do, which was some, but not with the same amount that the blue elf could easily do. She sighed before Tomaru spoke, snapping back at Ily, 

"Little Miss Red there has a point. If you wish to order people around to help close this portal, then get off your ass and do it yourself. I have no use to close the portal, it's out of my magic, all I can do is seal the closed opening." Tomaru scolded before turning to the portal, waiting for it to close. She could seal it by using a spiritual barrier she knew how to make, but can't magically seal the bloody thing, that, was for a blue mage to do later.

The next words came from the always hopeful, ever helpful, peaceful blue elf woman who was putting her all into this. "Stop insulting my brother. He is doing his best and your interruptions aren't helping at all. If he wasn't here, we would all be dead, especially you, Miss-Arrogant-dolt, who decided to plop on her fat behind and have a cry while being attacked by a Moblin. He should have let you die. Hate me if you wish, my words are intended to sting. There's no need to be such fools when we are all in this together and he is simply doing his job." Indilwen said, doing all she could before stopping. The portal had enough white magic to sustain it. Before anyone could reply, she walked back to the beach with a very stern look on her face. It was odd for her to be so angry, but she was. She hated people bashing her brother, and she was fairly certain she had made that clear. She was about to sit down and have a good cry herself.

They didn't know anything about anyone, judging like they knew what was happening. They all deserved the worst. She wanted to get her brother and go home. This was why she preferred the company of fairy folk.

Ilyndrathyl didn't have any further words to say, just needed to comfort his sister. Zak, mood dampened considerably, looked at his feet and waiting for Tomaru to bind the portal the best she could. Even he could find any humor in the situation. He understood that Ilyndrathyl was just doing his job and the backlash from the two mouthy women would have gotten his scolding as a captain too. Indilwen doing the talking was the shock factor, for sure. Sometimes blind obedience was all a situation called for.

Tomaru sighed as Fia'ye closed the remainder of the portal, and took a step back. Allowing Tomtom to approach the area where the portal was. in her hand, were the seals, as she placed them, her hellhounds began to disappear, Tomaru looked back and towards the others, "The spirit seals need to be spread throughout the temple. I could use some help. Any takers?" she asked in her somewhat normal kind, yet seductive tone. Tomaru wasn't one to sleep around, but more tease people and see how they'll go about the voice and her actions. Tomaru looked especially at Zak and nodded, as if saying, That means you, handsome pirate.

Zak obliged to the task issued by Tomaru as everyone else declared the task finished and began assembling themselves around campfires, if they were staying, and boarding ships, if they were leaving. Once the seals had been distributed, the portal successfully closed and seemed to disappear. A celebration was to follow the closing of the portal, along with the coming of spring. It was planned for a few weeks later, and all of Eldin seemed to be grateful. The Mogmas prepared a lovely stew and, well..

All's well that ends well.
