General Rules
1) Be respectful. The biggest rule is the golden rule.
2) English is the primary language for this RP, so please use it!
3) Have fun!
4) Spread the word about the site if possible.
5) This site is not for Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced role-players, we're for all of them! No matter your level, feel free to participate in the Role-Play!
6) Be sure to follow ProBoards ToS while on this forum, because we don't want to be suspended because of a member.
Character Rules
1) This RP is NOT linear which means that your character can be in as many boards as you want.
2)Do not 1-up other members characters simply to be the best. It is not fair and characters that do this will not be approved.
3) Characters must be one of the approved races. If you want another race you must get a staff member's permission first.
4) In order to play as a story character you should first reserve them so we know you're applying for that character.
5)Your character must be approved before you can use them. All staff members are on fairly frequently so it shouldn't be a long wait!
6) With characters that have magic, anything past Battle Mage MUST HAVE APPROVAL FIRST. The classes past that are more powerful yet more rare to see.
7) Accounts that do not make a character after two weeks (with exceptions, of course) will be deleted. Feel free to rejoin if you've been deleted; it's nothing personal, just need the site to be clean.
Roleplaying Rules
1) Absolutely NO godmodding (without the consent of the owner of the character in question of course). This includes but is not limited too:
-Directly controlling a character that is not yours.
-Dragging or moving characters somewhere the owner of them doesn't want them to be. (Such as forcing someone into combat when they don't want to be or forcing them to go to places they don't want to go.)
2)No Mary Sues. No character is or can be perfect. Your character can't be a god or perfect warrior who is a master at every weapon and fighting style. Any one who violates this will have their character revoked. Don't one up another member character wise. (such as always having the right weapon or magic skill no matter what.)
3) Keep swearing to a reasonable amount. We don't give a damn most of the time but if you're dropping the f-bomb every other line there will be a problem.
4) Relationships are to be kept at a PG-13 level, any higher should be taken to private messages (or preferably off site to email and other outlets).
5) Keep OOC to a minimum and when you use it ((put it in parenthesis))
6) Unless unavoidable all posts must be in IC (in character)
7) Please, proper grammar, spelling, etc. This means no 1337 speak unless in an OOC board.
8) What the staff say goes. Please do not argue our decisions unless we make an unjust one. We try to understand all perspectives.
9) We don't mind Character V. Character conflicts, but no OOC fighting. Either ignore the other person, settle it in private, or get one of the staff to help.
10) No obscenities. This includes: Racism, sexism, any hate speech, and inconsiderate actions against one for race, sex, orientation, etc. That is unacceptable.
11) Unless avoidable all posts are to be 50 word minimum. However one or two short posts will not be held against you!
12)Please be respectful and do not post in threads you shouldn't post in. (This means you should get permission from a thread, and if you don't want just anyone to join, you should clearly label that thread in the title.)
13) Have fun. We're not supposed to be stressed here.
