Closing the Portal (Event I)

Fia'ye sighed as she rose, her demeanor read something different than what she came in with, it was a 'thanks for being useless' as she walked out noticing the chuus, this was nothing new, more things to kill as far as she cared. Drawing her spear, Fia'ye hopped onto Reinna and joined Ily, she spoke softly as she came closer knocking the Chuus away, "Back in action Ily~" her words sounded cheerful and still rather playful. Though she now noticed a puppeteer and her puppets, rather, a necromancer and her Zombies. This brought chills down Fia'ye's spine, she was near another necromancer, and this one felt stronger than usual. Yet she continued to fight the chuus, though if she had to, she'd use Reinna's flight to her advantage.

That was it. He was done with this nickname. "Okay, Fatty, that's great." Ilyndrathyl kept a straight monotone, pleased with his new nickname for the redhead. Ily and Fatty were vastly different, but he didn't give a lick. As the archers and Link assembled, he divulged a plan to get closer to the portal and maneuver behind it so that nothing would present a problem to the scholars as they devised a way to shut it down. Without further ado, the small posse (and Link) moved toward the portal with haste. The chuus had successfully been destroyed, leaving a brief moment to sort things out before anything else could emerge from the portal.

Zak, a bemused look on his face, looked to his men. "Hear that boys? Did you hear what he said?" The men, all with disgruntled looks on their faces, began to make fists. The Captain figured he should offer some clarification for Johnny's sake. "We don't 'rape'. That's what rapists do. Nor do we 'pillage for fun'." Zak made a mock sad face, his men at arms behind him.

"Not a pirate's life for him." Said the small rogue.
"'e doesn't know what 'e's talking about!" Said the moderately drunk bald man.
"Thinks he's better." Said the man with the long hair.
"Scrawny little runt couldn't get a real woman if he tried." Said the man with dread locks.
"Haha! Thinks we rape and pillage!" Said the incredulous first mate.
"We're not animals." Said the midget.

Zak, content, stared at John, hoping for a clever retort. He did enjoy arguing.

Lydia shook her head "You just bumped into me. I'm FINE!" She snapped. Not out of anger but she was simply on edge as it was. "You keep doing your thing love." She told Attlas.

"Oh tough are ya?" He said clasping his hands behind his back. He circled the captain and chuckled "Shame you boys are pirates. I know a Man a war not far off the coast. Be a shame if she found your ratty ship wouldn't it?" He didn't captain the ship. No he captained a schooner. 4th rate at best. Still he had connections that he could use to get what he wanted.

Krieger charged towards the portal and looked at the elf. "What's the plan?" he asked looking at their target. "Damn." He said looking up at the portal with awe.

"Aww fuck me... I'm going to be feeling this for a while" Kira said slowly sitting up "man it's getting cold i best get dressed" he said focusing on what his clothes and equipment look and feel like and as he focused his clothes slowly began to take form "ah that's better... Now i just need a drink" Kira said as he got to his feet "hmm i wonder how long I've been out... Well i guess I'll just sit down by the fire for now and have a drink" he said as he sat down by the fire and pulled out a flask from his coat and started to drink while humming a old tale he once was told a long time ago

Attlas sniffed the air, he could smell more monsters, but none too close. Attlas though looked at his wife and lowered his body, "Hop on, I can give you a ride honey." he said noticing the rest of the teams were moving up towards the scent, which he didn't know at the time, but was the portal.

Fia'ye looked at Ily with a shocked, and rather defensive look, "Fatty?! I have an actual name, I call you Ily because I fear I;ll butcher your name jerk!" her response was harsh, cold, and giving all the character Ily didn't. Yet she noticed the poppets had disappeared as the Gerudo woman moved with the rest.

Monsters Released: 250 Bokoblins - Archers, Technoblins, Foot Soldiers

"Can it, Fatty." No sympathy. No regrets. Ilyndrathyl looked to Krieger, who was obviously not an archer, and gave him an incredulous look. "You should probably hang back with the others, lest you have a plethora of throwing knives." Matter of fact, everyone seemed to be advancing. Commoners didn't listen to commands. Frankly, that really irritated Ilyndrathyl, but he neglected to comment any further. He had asked for archers, not a mass, obvious posse. As they were approached, the portal seemed to regurgitate a hefty helping of bokoblins of various sorts. Ilyndrathyl visibly paled, instinct taking over, and unleashed the hell he withheld inside.

It was odd to see such a large man move so quickly. It seemed unnatural and uncharacteristic of such a large creature, but as soon as they were released he immersed himself in the swarm and started slaying them with a bloodthirsty rage. The men of his squadron stood back, knowing the truth behind the slaying, as did Link, who was honestly a little surprised. The other Bokoblins, seeing the large enraged elf, rerouted themselves and started attacking everyone else, leaving Ilyndrathyl surrounded by another thirty or so. Voice loud, still commanding, words that were extremely uncharacteristic of the elven man arose, "What are you waiting for? Shut this bitch down!" His men scattered and rushed the portal.

The pirate snorted at John's condescendence. He was a little prick and needed to be put in his place. "You're just like your skunk of a girlfriend." In a female voice, he continued, "Oh, look at me! I'm a termini an noble! I can treat my underlings as I please!" Taking the consideration of the insult to his ship, the pirate had yet another retort. "You know nothing of my ship nor the power I hold. That ship you speak of could easily be taken down. We're far more capable than you think, you pompous--" Bokoblins. Shit. Zak looked at the large group of monsters, eyes wide. He didn't like these odds, not with the numbers getting increasingly larger and the monsters getting increasingly more intelligent. Soon enough, a group of around thirteen attacked the pirate crew, taking them out relatively easily. It was a little crazy, but they managed.

Kira was getting bored and was getting ready to go to bed when he heard some noises coming from the mountain "Finally some action" Kira said scrambling to his feet and running to the mountain as he got closer to the mountain a strange feeling filled the air neither good,evil or anything in between it just was there just existing. But when he could clearly see the mountain he saw what almost looked like a temple but he couldn't be sure in till he was closer, as he made his way forward he heard some noises from the nearby, he put his hand on his blade and shouted "who's there...i guess it's nothing" he said running to the mountain entrance a little bit later he saw kriger and the rest of the group "hey what's going on i heard you from the beach is everyone ok...does anyone else have a strange feeling about this place" Kira asked a little bit out of breath

John grunted as a creature lunged at him. He stuck his arms out and fell to his back to kick it off of him. The creature was sent flying and landed a few feet away. He rolled to his feet and jumped on the creature and stuck his blades into its eyes causing it to scream in agony and convulse. He had to get back at that damn pirate for what he said but how? Kill him? Not so smart when his friends were around.

Kira heard sounds of a struggle nearby and made his way towards them "Kriger I'll be right back... Don't think that I forgot about that drink you owe me"Kira said running to the sounds of the struggle in till he saw some creature attacking some guy kira punched the beast of the man with one hand as he drew his blade with the other and quickly decapitated it all in one swift movement as if it was a choreographed dance all while being completely calm "I don't believe we've met I'm Kira" he said offering the man a hand

Fia'ye sighed hearing Ily, she couldn't say his name (Nor can the writer without fail) correctly, yet, seeing the big man go berserk she sighed and took command, "You lot stay back! Ily's gone insane. Handle the rest, I;ll handle Ily!" she spoke with an authoritative tone before her and Reinna charged into the fray of Bokoblins and Ily. As she charged, she drew her bow and fired at the bokoblins that were in the backlines of the fray. Fia'ye, seeing her get close, soon switched over to her spear, and charged in, leaping off the saddle of Reinna, and into the mosh pit of Bokoblins and Ily. Smiling, she began her attack.

Monsters Released: 250 Assorted Bokoblins

Indilwen looked at her brother and then closed her eyes, clasped her hands, and sent a prayer to the Goddess Hylia. She knew all too well that her brother was tormented by his past, but she didn't know that it still happened to this degree of severity - he'd gone apeshit when he saw the small humanoid beasts. She hoped she wouldn't have to heal him, that he'd get out okay, but it'd be okay if it all went down.

Ilyndrathyl took to attacking like the large Gerudo male, Ganondorf, and began to kick Bokoblin heads in. His height made it a very, very effective form of attacking. The blade in his hands, once glowing a pale blue, was covered in the purple hued Bokoblin blood; he didn't have time to notice, nor time to care, as he was greeted by another front of the creatures. A quick tier-two fire spell wiped them out, the rest that were going to charge in backed away and took off toward everyone else, including Indilwen, who was left relatively unprotected. He didn't bother to reprimand Fia'Ye as, to be honest, he was out of breath, covered in blood, and ready to take a nap.

Link, noticing the vulnerability of everyone else, started hurled a couple of bombs toward the portal and blew up a small number of bokoblins. It seemed most had been neglecting to notice the few archers that had retreated up into the mountain and had begun to send a vicious array of arrows down from above. Link managed to take two out with his bow before an arrow pierced his arm, the presence of which was announced with a loud disgruntled shout. He couldn't use his bow now, and he had an arrow in his arm, so his only choice was to seek help.

While the fighting went on, Attlas noticed a small group of about ten Bokoblins heading for the medical tent. His chance was now, noticing that there was little defense, he charged with a full throttle on his stride, "Oh hell no you don't!!" he yelled before lunging and striking down one biting a bokoblin's neck and snapping it at the same time, this scared, yet pissed off the rest of the small squad. They all attacked him, which he took, his fur acted like chainmail, deflecting the stabs and slashes, though he did take a few hits. Though by then he dispatched the other four. After looking at the bodies, he noted one got past and saw where it had ended up, just outside the medical tent. He charged again, now feeling the pain from his gashes, which only got worse. The lacerations from the swords and spears slowly got worse, and within the next few seconds, the threat to the medics was eliminated. As Attlas chomped, and crushed the Bokoblin's skull, it raised it's spear. The peaceful medical tent was no longer peaceful, in that now a large white beast, and a bokoblin came crashing through the side. The bokoblin being dead, the beast, being now badly wounded, with both black, and red blood staining it's fur. Before he could even speak, Attlas sank into the cold depth of shock.

Yet the fight wasn't over, up where the fighting was, Fia'ye was pinned back against a wall by a couple of bokoblins. The little scarlet woman wasn't exactly weak, just wasn't really used to those numbers on foot. It looked bad for her, since she wasn't fully able to move. Until a voice cut through the battle, along with multiple Shadow Hounds (Shadow Beasts) charged in, "Well now. You lot seem to be having fun huh?" the voice said as Tomaru approached steadily, her hounds cleaning up the remainders of the Bokoblins between eating a few corpses.

Krieger stood his ground when a monster lunged at him. He grabbed the beast by it's throat and drove it into the ground and delivered a quick punch to it's throat. The creature screamed and writhed on the ground as it slowly choked to death. "Damn beasts." Krieger said quietly.

John pushed the pirate captain to the side and ran to links side "Damn link! Alright I'm taking you to the medics tent now!" he said sternly.

Zak wasn't even close to John, so his feeble attempt to push him aside was looked at with a scornful look. He was surprised that perfect Miss Archer was with such a pompous dolt. Perhaps he could still get in her pants. Pushing the thought aside, he killed a few Bokoblins himself and looked around. Maybe he could find someone else to flirt with.

Ilyndrathyl collapsed gently into the sand, enjoying the warth on his face. He desperately wanted to nap; it was high time he stopped himself from going berserk. The mages who were checking out the portal were pretty excited, sounding as if they had found a way to shut it down. That gave him little hope.

Link looked weakly up at John and gave him a small smile. "Can I have a lolly once it's all over?" His voice was that of a child's, he was clearly delusional. The sooner he had help, the better. It wasn't every day he nearly died of blood loss, after all.

Attlas's Bokoblin attack was crazy, and Indilwen had no idea what to do. She was frightened but had her dagger in hand, ready to kill a beast if she had to. As the medical tent was damaged, she hung her head lower, but didn't let it get her down. It would all be okay, she had the natural ability to help them all. She rushed in to Attlas's side and knelt down, checking for a pulse. "Are you alright, sir?" She would have to help.

John scooped link up and sighed "Dude you can have what ever the hell you want when you get done." he said walking gently yet swiftly to the tent. "Isabel link was hit."

"Damn." Isabel said taking link from Johns arms and putting him on a clean bed. She grabbed the arrow by the middle of the shaft and broke it in two. "This should work." she said throwing the half with the fletching to the side. She lifted links injured arm and pushed the rest of the arrow through links arm and finally succeeded after a few minutes. Isabel sighed and threw the head of the arrow outside an began work on the wound.
