Theodosia Rosebottle had always hated Labyrnna, enforcing its strict laws and ideals that formal education was the best way to learn about the world. Who needed schooling when they had world experience? The gypsy had separated herself from her group of friends and decided to hang out with some other, more interesting characters. Spirits. Yoll Graveyard was perhaps the best place to do that, as she could converse freely with people of the past as if they had just died yesterday.
So far there had been nothing fruitful, in fact, Theo had gotten bored. The albino had actually taken to humming a lively song and dancing around, even on top, of graves. The spirits didn't seem to mind; most enjoyed her company. Surely if she were found she would be in deep trouble, but that idea was not too firm in her mind. She believed that she could do as she pleased as she was an entity separate from rules. It wasn't that she was a bad person, but she really enjoyed having the freedom to dance where she pleased.
Though it may have seemed rude to others, Rose didn't mind. People could dance on her grave and she would love it. She was hoping to avoid people on this night, trying to stay away from those who were living under the oppressing rules that governed them.

Famia was walking by in the Yoll Graveyard, since she was on a diplomatic trip, the Duchess wanted to explore where she was before the talking of ears begun. She never really was keen to graveyards, not because they were creepy, but because they were always rather morbid, and made her more upset. Yet she heard something that was rather odd in a graveyard, it was a song. That was rather different with the silence in the graveyard. Famia paused, the necklace she had on which bore the Hylean Crest jingled a bit as her stop was sudden as the wind blew and she had noticed the origin of the song, a Gypsy was dancing atop the graves, rather silently Famia approached the gypsy. Waited for her to stop, and slowly clapped smiling, "That was lovely Madame. Both the song and dance, I'm sure the spirits remaining here are pleased by that." she spoke, rather gently and with a confident and gentle smile, hoping she didn't scare the pale, albino woman. She was definitely different from most of the Lybinians that Famia had ran into. This was going to be interesting for Famia.

Applause. That was something Theodosia was definitely used to. She curtsied promptly and stood to her full height. "They're pleased. They enjoy having company." Well, so much for being secretive, eh, Theo? She couldn't help it; she was in her element. Shaking her head, she threw her guard up, pleased that this woman wasn't going to condemn her for being a free spirit like many others here would.
Theo figured that had something to do with that necklace she was wearing. She wasn't from around here. Yes, that made sense. She understood now. Any other Labrynnian would have freaked out. "I thank you for your compliment, as it does mean a lot to me. My name is Rose, may I ask yours?" Though she normally wasn't fond of formalities, she had already decided she liked this woman.

Famia smiled, she was spiritually aware, and could feel how the spirits were around her. It was like her sixth sense, Famia liked the pleasure the spirits had showed to the Gypsy, whom was now named Rose. She bowed slightly, before speaking, "My name, is Famia Rensen. Duchess of Kakariko Village in Hyrule. It's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Rose" she said amiss the bow, she was okay at dancing, but she couldn't do what Rose had done, nor could Famia really sing either, not saying that she was bad or anything, but she just had little practice. Yet the woman known as Rose was intriguing to her, she wished to know more about this woman, "If you do not mind me asking Ms. Rose, but why are you here? One would think that a person would be here to mourn, or visit old friends and family, but here to dance? I understand it gives the spirits a show, but I unfortunately do not understand. Could you... Enlighten me?" she was understandably confused, and wanted to know what she didn't.

Duchess of Kakariko Village? Interesting. That was one place the band of gypsies Theo traveled with had not yet been. It was interesting, to say the least. She made a note to travel there sometime. "The pleasure is mine." Politeness seemed appropriate, as she was speaking to the leader of a town she hoped to do some business in. This could work out to her advantage, so long as Famia didn't have an issue with the dark arts.
"I am here because I wanted to visit with some old friends." Theo hoped she would infer that she was referring to the spirits and not physical people. "Some of my friends are buried in this cemetery and I haven't spoken to them in a very long time. My heart longed for conversation, so I obliged." Her 'friends' in Yoll Graveyard had been dead for years. She didn't get along with any real humans, so at a young age she came out to visit with some of the spirits that lingered. They were far more intriguing than history books.

Famia listened carefully to the gypsy Rose. She was always willing to listen in to commoners chat since she wanted to make her area of land as prosperous as possible. Though she couldn't help but know what she meant about the gypsy's "friends" it was obvious that she meant spirits. But she couldn't think of how she would communicate ti them, until it dawned on her what Rose was along with a gypsy, "Ah I see. You are a Dark Mage. Am I correct?" she asked, her smile didn't falter one bit, she accepted all types of mages, but this woman was different. Rose felt like a more freed spirit rather than what most of the country felt like, it rather spooked her as to how robotic the other citizens of the country felt. Especially when her spear was brought into question, let alone her marking when they saw it. Though this one, she wanted to personally know. Though her thoughts were interrupted by the other diplomats from Labyrnna now finding her, speaking intellectually at her,
"Madame Famia? May I ask what you are doing here with that gypsy?" the man in the center asked, with Famia turning around gracefully,
"My apologies for this answer, but I am here, for my own reasons alone. To which they are nothing of your concern. Also, I think I'd prefer talking here, where I feel better with the spirits surrounding me. Is that okay?" Famia sounded defensive, both of her and Rose, the conversations were paused after her words, they were more like a mother protecting her child, Rose did feel like Famia's child that she had never really had before. But she wasn't going to let the albino be insulted without repercussions.

Needless to say, Rose was a bit taken aback by how well that was taken. That fact was obvious through the way she literally took a step backward after that was said. It was moving that someone wasn't going to condemn her for her abilities, as much as she condemned herself. "Yes. I am." The simple answer seemed like plenty, and Theo's peaceful demeanor quickly turned hostile as the Labrynnians made themselves evident.
It sickened Theodosia that these ignorant 'scholars' felt the need to continuously call her a gypsy, especially when they knew very well that, from their mouths, that was an insult. Theodosia's pale face reddened and she gave the man an icy glare. It was none of his concern. Just as she was about to say and do something that would have likely gotten her thrown in jail, Famia spoke in her defense. This woman was certainly not like the others, and that was more than enough to make Theodosia content. She was relieved, to say the least. Though now what was once a peaceful place was beginning to feel like hostile territory.

The men looked at Famia, whom openly defended the gypsy, one spoke with a normal monotone voice, "Well Madame Famia, I have no clue what connection you have here, but I would like to tell you that that Gypsy is a problem. Now. Can we discuss this in a different place?" the man had stopped, a brief pause loomed between the two small groups. Famia looked annoyed, and the men, robotic, as per usual seemingly. Though Famia's voice broke through the silence, in a manner that was lady-like, but showed the fangs of the dragoon,
"First off, the young woman behind me has a name. I would prefer if you used it." the response was a disarming response, she felt the spirits' not liking the hostility near them as she nodded crossing her arms, and standing straighter than she was, "Besides. I do not think we have anything to talk about now, correct? The tensions between Hyrule and Labrynna have been solved without my aid. Now I simply am here as a guest with diplomatic immunity. Please, before the spirits become more annoyed, if there are any other concerns, you know where I am staying. And we can take up talks then and there" she nodded, smiling slightly, confidence was one thing Famia had, she knew what she could do and would play her cards carefully. Though soon she turned to Rose, with a little more soft look on her face, as if she had wronged the gypsy, "My apologies that you had to see that..." she stopped, moving a little and looking away towards one of the graves. She felt like she insulted the spirits.

The sad thing was that they all likely knewher name, and the reason it was so stupid was because her mother named her after these pompous morons. Theo wished that she could just brush their comments off and play it as it came, but it was hard to do. They were so ignorant and rude that she just wanted to spawn some crows that would rip their eyes from their sockets. She'd make a necklace of their ears and wear it around her neck as a warning to those who dared to insult the name of gypsies.
Sure, her people were very different, but they certainly weren't inferior!
Theo spoke, and when she did, it was toward Famia. "I have just as much right as those stupid bastards to be here. I was born here. They're all stuck up ninnies who need to pull their heads from each other's behinds." Theodosia's words came from her mouth in a very unregulated manner, one that definitely wasn't considered professional. "Perhaps if they'd learn from their neighbors in Holodrum they would learn that." The albino's brows drew together and the look upon her face resembled nothing other than irritation and annoyance.

Famia smiled, hearing Rose's comments were like her mind was being read, to be honest, Famia didn't like having to talk to Labrynnia's governmental figures. It always felt like they looked down on her, which drove her nuts, not only is she to be diplomatic and respectful, but she had to take the insults without any dealing back. She was ready for her pent up anger and frustration to explode, and when it did. Famia was going to put a new name for the Triforce piece she supposedly represented, wisdom. Though she responded to Rose, knowing that that isn't her actual name, "So Ms. Rose. Could you tell me your real name? For future reference." she asked smiling lightly, to show that she wasn't going to use it in any manner but positive, she had no beef with the woman, thus, why hide one's name?

This question that Famia not presented unto her was one that Theo hated getting. "What makes you think my name is not Rose?" Probably the fact that she was Labrynnian gave it away. Though she didn't like her name, she didn't want to withhold information from a friend and then perhaps others would refer to her as she referred to herself, Theo.
"My true name is Theodosia Rosebottle." The last name was definitely fitting for a gypsy, but 'Theodosia' was like that idiot Theodore. "Though I still prefer Rose, Theo is acceptable." She really, really, really hated her name and did not wish to find her identity in it, ever.

Hearing Theo's name made Famia smile. She had a intuition, though Theo's body movements when she said her name suggested that she was false. Of course Famia could have been wrong, but Theo didn't call her bluff, figuring that Famia could see through the deception. Though she did speak, with a motherly tone, "Theo. When you are as old as I. You can see though deceptions" she remarked at Theo's first question. Yet she spoke with the same tone again, not as if to lecture, but encourage Theo to accept her name, "Well Theo. I think your name is rather pretty. It has a ring to it. More than you get with a name like Famia Rensen." Famia didn't mind poking fun at her own name to help others, but she really wasn't too fond of her name. Not that it was unflattering, just it didn't fit with her.

"I've already developed a gift for that, only in other aspects. I don't care much for names, they're merely a label." Theodosia was glad the men had left and had returned to her normal self. Her rage had subsided into nothing more than a memory. The only memory she still held onto was that of that stupid dwarf she had been with once, and that was primarily because she still fostered feelings toward him, though she'd never let him know that. She just needed to formally move on.
"Famia. Fam. Family. Family is the most wonderful gift any could have." When she spoke of family, Theodosia was not speaking of blood relatives. She was talking about the gypsy commune and how amazing they were at taking care of everyone's needs and making sure everyone was well. They weren't like her parents or her siblings, who she greatly despised. No good Labrynnians, anyways.

Famia smiled hearing Theo talk about how Famia can see through deceptions, in Famia's case, she was able to do it by watching body motions and being sensible and experienced enough at her age, to know when someone is false. Though she did make a comment, "I can believe that, Theo. You seem like a smart woman, and I trust that you won't end up-" she cut herself off. The memories were back, of her time in the torment that was a different diplomatic trip. Her body, trembling in the fear she had experienced and her mind raced throughout. Her experiences were... Less than pleasant and hearing Theo speak about family, "I... See... My... Family's been gone for a while now..." her voice signified that it was hard for her to speak about family, since hers was murdered in cold blood. Famia had stopped trembling, and seemingly was fine for the time.

Her? Smart? Theodosia was smart in the sense that she was tricky and knew how to navigate the streets. Books were her enemies and because of that she had not learned all that she could. It was pointless to learn about things that were of seemingly no use to her.
In response to Famia's comment about family, Theo had but only three words to say. "So gain another." Theo's words were plaintive enough to show she cared, but there was a strong sense of self hiding behind them. It was what she had done and, though they had not experienced death (and for that she was thankful), now she was much better off than she had been before. It may not be as easy as she made it seem, but the spirits embraced her and were the best friends she had ever had beside the gypsies. Perhaps she was more fortunate than others, having friends and comrades both living and dead, but it was oftentimes more a curse than a blessing.
