Fia'ye nodded, gulping a little before speaking as she watched the tyrannical beast, "The eye is the big weakness. But I won't be able to get close by myself. He'll swat Reinna and I down long before I can hit his eye..." her voice was rather hushed, as if she were thinking, which always ended badly for her in combat if she en-ravels herself in thought. Her timing, reactions and everything was off, she looked at the colossal beast and nodded. This was a fight she was going to be in, she soon whistled calling Reinna over to her, she got on, and after she was situated he spoke like a commander, "Ilyndrathyl. Take your men and keep his reach and aim off of me. I'll keep my distance until you give me the signal that he is open for attack. I'll hit his eye with my spear." she took out her bow, and sighed, she hated using others than herself as bait, but with the height of the titan, which was about 45 meters, she had the better shot. Though she nodded, "Also, if any of your men have any possibility to take his eye out, or any other weak point that they know of. After he is blinded. Well. I'm inferring what you know what to do right?" she stopped, feeling like a general, she wasn't a great plan maker, rather, a ton of her "plans" were impromptu and rather improved. They consisted of "Do as you need. Wait for an opening to strike" which she was good at. Her fighting style was ferocious. She loved every bit of it.

Speaking in Elvish, Ilyndrathyl ordered one of his men to go tend to his horse. He figured he had a decent idea and could very well finish this quickly, given the right advantages. He would need to move to a better position, and wasn't ready to die, so all of his actions would have to be perfectly executed… along with everyone else's. Was he afraid? No. Should he have been? Probably. It wasn't like him to fear death. He had survived so much so far, it could not possibly be his time to go.
"That horse isn't skittish, is it? It can take a little thunder?" Ilyndrathyl had devised a clever plan that would give Fia'Ye the perfect opportunity to strike and finish the beast while everyone would presumably be out of harm's way. All it would require was a little distraction and a series of cleverly executed action from his highly trained squadron. It should work, as all of the books he had studied said it would.

Fia'ye smiled, "I know Reinna wouldn't jump at lightning. Unless I am nowhere to be near." as she spoke, rather calmly, she rubbed the side of her mount's neck as a manner to keep her calm. Fia'ye was, deep deep down, scared beyond all recognition, but was willing to swallow her pride, though looked up quickly, as if she remembered something. She nodded and spoke again, "I recall, killing both a Cyclops and Titan by hitting the back of it's neck! Right above the shoulders, a stab or slice will quickly handle the bastard.*" her voice came out sounding, rushed, but confident with her own abilities as her scarlet hair was carried through the gentle breeze.
*Totally didn't steal that from a Really awesome anime.

Ilyndrathyl thought it over, trying to figure out a way to effectively take down the beast. "I have an idea. You just take to the sky. My men will serve as a distraction from the front and you will have some aid from behind. I'll stun the beast." The man issued a quick order to his men in Elvish, who quickly split. Ilyndrathyl himself found a nice perch and started to ascend. His men from behind started to fire arrows at the beast, the men in front made quite the clamor, hoping to draw the beast near and stop it from going after Fia'Ye. Once he had successfully climbed the part of the mountain, Ilydrathyl took further action.
He cast Judgement Bolt and a strong bolt of lightning struck the beast in the head, temporarily stunning it as the electricity hit its neurosystem. "Fia'Ye, now!"

Fia'ye had taken to the sky again, this time high enough that she as far out of reach of the Cyclops, as soon as her signal was given, she began to dive down. As she did dive down, the effects began to wear off, due to her hesitation, she had less time. Reinna was not fast enough, this prompted something bold from Fia'ye. Which caused Reinna to no longer have a rider, as the little scarlet human began to plummet towards the beast, launching an arrow into it's eye. Though she wanted the kill, she moved herself to a decent position and drew her sword, putting her arms out, she began to spin and soon cut the Cyclops' neck. Though there was another problem... Reinna couldn't catch up to get her. She yelled to Ilyndrathyl something, which sounded like death to her, "Waaaatch ouuuttt!" she was slowly approaching the ground in a pace that would kill her if she hit the ground un-stopped.

This is why Ilyndrathyl chose mages to be a part of his squad. He tried to find something that could potentially cushion her fall and prevent her from breaking every bone in her body. An idea came to mind and he cast a simple wind spell underneath Fia'Ye that, if rode properly, would allow her to land without harm.
"Ride the current!" Ilyndrathyl boomed, hoping she would hear him. Sensing the urgency in his voice, the men in his company similarly cast their own spells to manipulate the air underneath the redhead. With that much force and concentration from a variety of skilled mages, there was no way she would break something. The force of the air might bloody her nose or give her some scratches, but that was much better than being injured so much she couldn't move. All the man could do was watch from his perch on the mountain, hoping that his quick idea would suffice.

As Fia'ye plummeted, her mind had raced, if she managed to be lucky... Her captain would yell her ear off. Though she soon was caught by the current of winds that the mages were causing, which put her mind closer to ease, she felt the wind scratch her up and soon she was on the ground. Fia'ye smiled and sighed in a reliving tone before looking at the mages, "Thanks... I owe you all a drink..." she spoke, her voice sounded exhausted though strangely exhilarated, "Ilyndrathyl. I guess Thank you, and that I owe you one as well... Am I correct...?" As she spoke, she sheathed her spear, and Reinna caught up, which made Fia'ye more relaxed. Since, she did almost die tonight, she was no longer fond of Cyclops.

The idea had worked, as he thought it may have. There was almost a smile that appeared on his pale lips, but it was unlike him to flash his stark white teeth, so he beat the urge back to the depths from which it had risen. There was no need to smile, they had not finished yet. There was no reason to not take a break, though. It looked like there were no casualties, though there was no sight of the scholar who was supposed to be documenting the slaying of the beast. This pissed the large elf off, though that itself was not obvious to the others.
"I don't drink." Ilyndrathyl didn't like the fiery liquid that was alcohol. It just didn't suit his fancy. He drank water. "Though I'm sure the men would like it." He cast his green eyes over toward his men, who all exchanged glances and began to cheer like a herd of dwarves. While they were cheering, Ilyndrathyl gracefully stepped down from the mountain and walked silently toward the tents. He heard snoring coming from one and, as he peered inside, he saw the scholar lying there, sound asleep, as if nothing had happened.

Fia'ye laughed a slight bit as she rubbed the back of her neck. She knew with her, rather meager income, she wouldn't be at all able to pay for the army's liquor supply. Which she estimated to be about, if not six-hundred rupees, which was about five times her wage. Though she did speak, with a gentle, yet pressing voice, "I doubt I'd be able to pay for all of you... I apologize, I have a meager wage with the guard..." she paused, and spotted Ilyndrathyl heading back down the mountain. She kept a jogging pace to catch up and as soon as she knew that she'd be heard, she spoke, though heard snoring, "Then how about a cup of tea?" she asked, before looking over towards the sound's direction, "And I do hope that the man whom is still asleep, wasn't asleep this whole time right?" her voice changed from a soft and kind tone, to a more surprised tone, that was odd to her since, she woke to the noise of a mouse moving in the barracks. So someone sleeping while a Cyclops was enraged, and even falling, was rather... Odd.

Ilyndrathyl's men were more than willing to purchase their own drinks after this victory, and the majority of them didn't see the large elf walk down the mountain. Needless to say, the tanned man was furious. This bloke was supposed to have documented how a cyclops could be defeated yet he had not even been awake to do his job. Face visibly turning red, even in the light of the moon, the large elf entered the tent, ripped the blanket off of the scholar, and lifted him effortlessly from the ground by his shirt.
With the sudden movement, the scholar awoke, eyes wide. He was obviously surprised. "C-Captain, wh-what're you doing?" The scholar was slim but he wasn't muscled at all. He was rather spindly, light as a feather. Ilyndrathyl's jaw was tense, his green eyes super vibrant.
"Leave this place now. I never want to see your face again. You're lucky I don't slay you here. You had one job. You have failed us. I'll be reporting to Labrynna, so you'd best not seek shelter there." With that, Ilyndrathyl dropped the man back onto his bedroll and turned around, walking right past Fia'Ye into the night. "You have fifteen minutes." This was said to the scholar, who was still too stunned to move.
Calming his tensed nerves, the elf finally looked to Fia'Ye. "Tea would be fine, but it's not necessary."

Fia'ye stood silently, as the 'big scary elf' in her mind basically killed the poor scholar. She wished to speak up, but it wasn't like she had the courage to do so, but she didn't have the stupidity. Rather, she did walk to the man's tent, and leaned over to him, and smiled lightly, "Are you okay sir?" she asked, her voice was contrary to Ilyndrathyl's, whom was loud, angry, and intimidating, hers was soft, kind, and motherly. Fia'ye thought he deserved scolding, but wasn't exactly deserving of the elf's rage, which struck her wrong. Spear in hand, Fia'ye approached Ilyndrathyl, her hair blowing back as she moved against the gentle breeze, her voice was now more cold, nothing to her previous tones, though hinted to the motherly kindness, "Ilyndrathyl! That was uncalled for!" she yelled, ready for the anger to be placed upon her, "There was no need to attack him like that! I care not for him sleeping through the cyclops mission! You went too far!"

"Y-Yes, I'm fine, but I must go plead my case to the governor so the Captain does not remain angry with me. It is all my fault, I should not have went back to sleep. Lazy, lazy, lazy. What kind of a scholar am I? Cannot even manage to do my damn job." The small man hurriedly gathered his belongings, all set for shipping out to Labrynna. He knew Ilyndrathyl wasn't serious, as he wouldn't betray him like that, but he still had to repent to the governor. He had failed his country.
When Fia'Ye returned to the large elf, clearly overstepping her bounds, Ilyndrathyl's response was cold and emotionless, as per usual. "You need not concern yourself with my affairs. He has failed his comrades, captain, and country." He paused, thinking it over for a moment, before continuing. "Now that we have killed the beast, we'll likely be returning to Labrynna and be heading away from your precious Hyrule. You'd best be off now as well. Escort the failure safely to a barge." He would have liked to give her a piece of his mind but he himself had already went a little overboard. It was not often that he let his temper control him so, but this was definitely an extreme case. The scholar was there for one purpose, he had been given orders, and he had failed them. Punishment could have been death. He was lucky his life had been spared.

Fia'ye sighed, if he weren't a foreigner and if it weren't an act of war, she'd outright kill Ilyndrathyl... But she couldn't, and now it was time for her response, "I understand he failed, but we are well. Human...ish. And we make mistakes. It's unfair to expect perfection out of everything at all times. How you acted was really out of line and I don't find Hyrule precious to me, I find a duty to protect it since my home is just a battlefield, and honestly, he is of your troop. I have no right to control your soldiers, but I can plea my case to the leading officer hoping for change. Which is seemingly pointless with how thick skulled you are being..." she had stopped, as if saying that she gave up in trying to correct Ilyndrathyl, he was too stubborn for Fia'ye to stop.

Fia'Ye had a point, but that point, even if heard by the Captain was not one that could be considered in terms of the Labrynnian government. Ilyndrathyl should have killed the man on the spot. He had done a pretty good job on briefing her in the beginning of their time together, but she had clearly not fully understood his words. He was rather vague, so that was understandable.
"Though it may seem that my sole reason for coming here was to slay the cyclops and protect Hyrule, that is not the case. As I said before, this was a quest for knowledge. I, we, came here in search of information that was to be documented by the government's appointed official." The large man gestured toward the smaller mage, who was doing an excellent job of cleaning up his spot. "In theory I should kill him for not doing his duty, but I was sent here to protect him and to slay the beast so that he could document the information." He hoped to let that sink in a little.
"You accuse me of being hard-headed, but I know fully what you're talking about. To someone of non-Labrynnian descent, it would seem pardonable to you, but with such strict, scholarly motivations and a one tract mind of the government that rules Labrynna, his actions are in fact intolerable. We received funds to get here because of that man, and that man was the one who messed everything up singlehandedly. He must plead his case, not I. I simply did my job. You spoke to him. You have to read deeper into his words." It was a little more difficult that he had bargained for, but he hoped the words would hit home. He had come here to protect citizens, not to get research. It was that research that allowed him to be able to come here. With the hope for information obliterated, the common good had been served, but Labrynnian officials would not be pleased. "His fate does not lie in my hands."
