It was that night again. The night of every year when the aliens came, stole some cows, and left the youngest farm girl with emotional scarring. Romani was practicing with her bow, shooting at lady-bug balloons whilst atop her pony, hitting every one spot on. After about fifteen minutes of shooting, the red head stopped target practice and took her pony for a ride down milk road. Once she had spotted the entrance to Termina Field, she stopped. The pony's tail flicked back and forth anxiously as Romani dismounted. She gazed up at the sun, which had just dawned, and sighed.
"Looks like we're in for a long, long day, Elrond." She patted the pony's stout neck and mounted him yet again, turning him back in the direction to the ranch. It was high time she began her daily chores. Cremia would be deeply upset if she didn't get anything done. Romani, hair flying as the pony galloped, skidded to a halt when her large pet mouse skittered across ahead.
"Squeeeeeaks!" She screamed as she was hurled from her mount, face skidding across the dirt. "I-I..." Before she could speak, the mouse was back at her side, licking her face like a dog would.

Jammie sighed. Another day at work. Lifting the last barrel of milk onto the cart, he wiped the sweat of his brow. It didn't matter how long he had been working here, the milk barrels never seemed to get any lighter! Deciding to take a short break before heading back to the market, he walked over towards the horses, petting each one happily. He always loved spending time with the horses... And the cows... And every other animal he came in contact with. Giggling to himself he scratched another muzzle before plopping down onto the grass to play with the newest colt.

Thank goodness no one had seen that. Romani gather her bow - and her senses - and wandered back over near the house. She should probably start doing her chores. She noticed James as he loaded up milk and contemplated recruiting him, but he went to play with a colt. Whatever, she had squeaks to help. The red head went into the barn and began to pitch some hay to the cows, glad Cremia wasn't there to scream at her.
"Alright, ladies. Eat up!" With that, she scattered some grain to the chickens and exited the barn, only to get back on Elrond and make a few more rounds. The lady bugs kept popping and Romani decided to quit a little early, only to drive Elrond right into the milk cart that Jammie had just loaded. The pony reared and squealed, only to send Romani off him and knock a few barrels of milk from the cart.
Rubbing her back, Romani looked around. "Oops..."

Jammie's 'bad feeling' senses were tingling and he figured he should get back to working before he was yelled at. Giving the colt one last playful ruffle on the head, Jammie stood and brushed off the dirt from his bum. He started walking towards his cart, only to have the feeling get worse. He really hoped that it was only his imagination... Unfortunately for him, his 'bad feeling' senses were never wrong.
When he finally reached the cart, the sight he saw was not one he was exactly happy about. "R-Romani?! What... What happened here?!" His little voice trembled and his eyes were open wide at seeing all the spilled milk, knowing that her father was bound to kill him. He began pacing around looking at the milk then back to the ground. His hands twisted around one another are he tried coming up with a plan to get out of this mess.

Romani continued to rub her head and look nervously at Jammie. This had not happened how she had intended it to. She should probably start paying more attention. "I... well, um... aliens?" Romani made a very awkward face, complete with the guilty half-smile she normally donned. She was clearly kidding and the disheartened look she gave the ground spoke her feelings well enough. "I'm sorry."
Now she had to figure out a way for James to not get fired. It was her fault, but she doubted her dad would actually buy that. Nor would Cremia. So they had to do something. With a brilliant idea, she looked up at the blond in front of her. "Do you have an ocarina? Do you? Any kind of instrument? Can you sing?" The passion in her eyes was being fanned by her newfound brilliance. It was good she found getting out of sticky situations easy.

'Sorry?' She was 'sorry?!?!' Jammie groaned and hid his face in his hands. Sorry couldn't re-bottle all of the money that had just been dumped onto the ground. Literally! His boss was sure to fire him as soon as he heard word of this... As she mentioned singing, his head lifted and he looked at her like she had sprouted two heads.
"Sing? Well... Yes... I can sing a bit, but I don't see how that has anything to do with this situation..." He frowned, trying to think up a scenario in his mind. He certainly didn't want the job of singing for entertainment!

Romani grinned and stood up, grabbing Jammie's hands. Sqeaks ran over and started sniffing his pant legs. "Epona's song, James! We can sing it to the cows! They'll produce more milk, we can refill the bottles, and then no one gets in trouble!" Genius idea, girlfriend! Yea, too bad she was too stupid to not pay attention to what she was doing in the first place. "If we chase them all into the barn, it won't take long at all!"
The stupid excited look on her face said plenty about her 'genius' idea.
