Personality: Dorien always tends to keep to himself and isn't one to make quick friends. Given the choice, he would rather stay away from large crowds or towns. If he absolutely has to go into a town or such he will endure it, though not without feeling claustrophobic. Although he's shy, once he gets to know someone well enough he isn't easy to get rid of. He is extremely loyal to anyone who cares enough to care about him. He has much determination towards anything he starts and more than enough patience to finish it. Dorien can seem rude if someone doesn't really know him, since he isn't not afraid to speak his mind about anything.

History: Dorien's parents were killed when he was very young leaving him to take care of his sister, Fai, who was a year younger than him. He spent as much time as he could spare reading, leaving no time for friendships. Even so, he became very close friends with a boy named Jex after the two ran into each other, quite literally, in a market. The two had a special connection and were seemingly inseparable. However, when Dorien was sixteen, Jex killed Fai in pure rage after she denied loving him. Jex disappeared after that, and hasn't been seen since the murder. Dorien was heartbroken and refused to trust anyone so easily again. His sister was the only family he had left and he still feels a little out of place since he has no idea where he fits in. Now, he spends more time than ever buried in his books and traveling around, trying to forget his past.
